I bought this little fun station for my little Granddaughter and she loves it. She is seventeen months old and she sits and eats some of her meals, and scribbles on her colouring books. Its more than a toy it's useful. It's well made too.
BOUGHT THIS FUNSTATION RECENTLY AND WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY IT. IT IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND VERY STURDY. ALSO THE MATERIAL AND RED COLOUR ARE EXACTLY LIKE ON THE PICTURE AND SEEM OF GOOD QUALITY. MY TWO AND HALF YEAR OLD SON IS VERY COMFORTABLE IN IT AND STILL HAS ROOM TO GROW WITH IT. I CAN DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.
When I bought it I wasn't sure how much use my then 18 month old grandchild would get out of this table and chair set but how wrong could I be? She has used it constantly. She started eating at it when I gave it to her last Christmas and has used it every day since. She draws at it, sits her dolls at it - infact constantly finds new uses for it.
The set is really well made and cleans easily.
Definitely a good buy, well worth the money and is not out of place in the living room.
I bought this for my 2 half year old after he started rejecting sitting in the high chair. It's great, well made, sturdy, easy to put together. He's only had it for a day, he's very keen to use it. We got it for eating off mainly but I'm sure it will have all sorts of uses. It seems smaller than in the pic, I didn't really measure it before ordering. It's nice and compact which suits me. Only thing is the table in the pic has high sides, ours doesn't, made it's how we've put it together.
I looked long & hard for the ideal table & chair for my petite 2yr old. I'm so glad I ordered this set as its perfect! It's worth the money as the quality is great & the design is ideal for little ones learning to balance on chairs for the first time. Having the arms on the chair & still being able to push the chair in under the table means she can sit really well whilst she draws & plays. The pen pot is a good addition & my daughter usually sticks her water cup in the hole instead. All in all very happy with this.
I think it is very overpriced. The wood also split when screwing it together. My son-in-law couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back. I also cannot see it working for a child up to 5 years of age!!! Too small. Would i recommend it? Probably not.
This product arrived well before the expected delivery date and in excellent condition. My grandson loves it and it is safe, sturdy and attractive so does not look out of place in the living room. I did think it had a draw underneath which it has not.But it is a quality item.
Bought as a Christmas present for my 13 month old Granddaughter and she loves it. Although she cannot quite reach the floor with her feet when sitting it will be something that she will grow into and should be able to enjoy for many years to come. Very well made, sturdy and easy to assemble.
I purchased this for my son, who's a tall 3.5 year old. Extremely well made product - looks very expensive. Very sturdy indeed and does not look out of place in the living room. Even though he is a tall boy, the table is perfect for my son and it still has room for him to grow. I recommend this product very very highly. A beautiful piece of furniture - the photo does not do it justice.
We bought this for our 16 month old daughter to eat her meals at. She has been learning to sit at a table at nursery and we wanted to continue to develop this at home. She can also sit there to draw and play and in future can do homework, etc as it should last well. It is of a size that it will last for a few years and is very good quality. It is solid wood and very easy to assemble with an Allen key in 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend.
I really want to compliment the manufacturers/ designers for this. I had in mind what I wanted as a table and chair and spent a while looking - a lot of these are either made of plastic (not sturdy) or not well-designed. I bought this in the summer of 2012 and it's still going very strong. I suspect it will take him into his first 2 years at school, too. So easy to assemble, nothing to catch on, the sides are smooth, and the wood is nice and heavy so little hands don't find it too easy to move about! I can't remember, now, how much I paid for it, but I can tell you it was worth every penny.
No complaints about the actual construction of the table and chairs and they were very easy to put together. But it looks nothing like the photograph. Both the table and chair that I received have square sides, not beveled and there's no blue inlay in the desk. It's not as attractive as the advertised item and because of this and for being misled by the manufacturers I can only award three stars.
The company has now changed the photo. It is now an accurate description.
1. The design of the desk & chair are very good and the quality of the wood is excellent with a lovely feel to it.
2. My son loves the chair.
3. One of the screws had its thread completely stripped and the kit comes with no spare screws. However I called Little Helper up and after I explained the situation, sent me three screws in a couple of days.
1. Having put together the chair, it does wobble slightly as the legs are slightly uneven.
2. Biggest issue is that the front of the desk (the plank with the logo which you can see in the picture) was slightly too short and one end wasn't square either. So when I tightened the screws without realising this, it caused the wood to split. Also due to the non-square end of the plank, if you tighten up the screws so the wood are all flush with each other, one of the legs is slanted.
In the end the hassle of taking apart the desk & chair and repacking them to send back to Amazon was too much of a hassle (plus didn't want to take away the chair which my son loves so much) so I loosened the screws enough so at least the desk legs were all straight and used wood glue to secure the screws in the wood so they won't loosen any further.
At just under £65, I don't think the quality of the item justifies its fairly steep price.
